Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

14 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Just got the X73 suspension option installed on my 04 C4S. Pics before:

POST 2 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

And pics after. What a difference! Haven't had a chance to try it out on the track yet (next week!), but first impression is a good one. The car actually rides substantially better on the street than it did before (which surprised me somewhat). Car is lower (have to watch some of those driveways), but not too bad. Car went from about 27 1/8 " front and 26 1/8" rear to 25 3/4" front and rear (roughly measured from the ground to the fender down the center of the wheel). Can't wait to try it out on the track!

POST 3 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Oh, and sorry for the "rusted" rotors...just washed the car, and forgot to take it around the block before taking the pictures.

POST 4Original post

SG - Your car looks awesome lowered! Thanks for sharing the pics.

POST 5Original post

Your car looks good, I'm doing mine this Wednesday...thanks for the pictures

POST 6Original post

night and day difference in driving, isnt it? congrats,

POST 7Original post

you'l love it at the track. treat yourself to some cups to go with the x73.

POST 8Original post

Ditto what C4S Surgeon says. The transformation on the track is incredible and you will truly be smiling form ear to ear. Please post after you've had the opportunity to try it out. Best of luck. Dave

POST 10 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Well, almost in, as it rained before the driving event and soaked the track pretty good. Still couldn't resist going out and checking out the new suspension...quite the transformation! Much improved...the car is much closer to neutral, and stays flat around the corners. The level of grip that the car has on street rubber is quite impressive! Overall, I'm quite pleased with the X73 suspension setup. Next up...some track tires and rims? Sport Cups? Man...this forum is too expensive!

POST 12Original post

Aaaargh!! I gotta stop looking at this board! I held off buying the X73 when I found out the prices went up this month. Now, with SC's car looking so great and knowing how much it improves track performance and how I've been chewing up the outside of my tires on the stock C4S suspension, I'm looking at cash flow to see if the X73 is doable. Again. Aaaargh!!

POST 13Original post

Javier at Braman porsche will hook you up, porsche is planning another sale very shortly I'm told. Give jav a call he'll let you know when it goes down.
