Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

I'm using a Windows XP box with Adobe Premiere Elements as my video s/w.
Leading evidence: 'Use windows xp box' (no explicit attributable resolution; this is a reported action or suggestion). Across 1 matching discussions, The most frequently discussed action is 'Set (the first radio button' (1 discussions). For that action, 0 discussions report a resolution and 0 report an unsuccessful attempt. No action has an explicit, attributable resolution report under the current rules. These are forum reports and suggestions, not a confirmed diagnosis.

The default setting (the first radio button on that screeen) is fine for most computer based video.

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

I tested this with the videos you provided and it worked like a charm.
The link below contains some pics and video from the PDE on Aug 9-10. It was a Masters course and there was a lot more track time than the 2-day High Performance course I attended last year. The instructors were also much more detailed in showing how to get around the track quickly. It was a blast.
The videos were recorded in widescreen format and when I converted them to my online sever they were compressed leaving a slightly 'squeezed' image (anyone know how to compress video and retain the widescreen format?).

If you are using a mac you can compress them in iMovie. That's how I do my DE video's for uploading onto my website. I shoot with a Canon widescreen miniDV cam and burn a DVD copy for my viewing on my home theater and then create a quicktime video for my webstie.
Mike-
Thanks for the pics and video....I got to relive the adventure as I was in that class as well..
PDE is great fun, so much fun that I will be attending once again at the end of next month!!

You lucky guy. Enjoy! I am definitely going back again, but can only swing it ($$) once a year!
I'm using a Windows XP box with Adobe Premiere Elements as my video s/w.
Why not just start tracking your own car, gotta be an s-load cheaper!
I was gonna do the masters end sept as well, couldn't get away, enjoy, the pde is awsome.
I do track (have driven Road America, Laguna Seca, Cal Speedway, Willow Springs big& little) as well as autox (SDR ax tracks are in excess of a mile long and many times you get into 3rd).
PDE is just alot of fun and the track is a blast to drive.

I'm not sure where the setting is in Adobe but if you import the video into Windows Movie Maker, you can convert it to 16:9 from the 4:3 format.
Import of video into Windows Movie Maker
1. - Open WSM (Windows Movie Maker) which should be under "Program - Accessories"
2. - Click on "File" then select "Import into collections" or Ctrl-I as a shortcut
3. - Select the video you want to convert to 16:9 and import.
Note - WSM will auto create multiple clips from the one imported video.
Recombining the clips into one video (not actually needed but easier to work with)
1. - Click on "Edit" then select "Select all" (Ctrl-A)
2. - Right click on one of the clips and select "Combine" (Ctrl-M)
Adding the clip(s) to the storyboard and altering the aspect ratio
1. - Drag and drop the clip(s) to the storyboard located at the bottom of the screen (Ctrl-D)
2. - Click on "Tools" then select "Options"
3. - Click on the "Advanced" tab then select "16:9" for Aspect Ratio under the "Video Properties" section of the "Options" window.
4. - Click "OK" to save the setting and close the "Options" window
Creating the new aspect corrected file
1. - Click on "File" then select "Save Movie File" (Ctrl-P)
2. - Select "my computer" from the choices to save the file to and click "Next"
3. - Type in the name of new file you wish to create and select the location on this next screen. Click "Next' once that is done.
4. - Select the video quality you wish to create with. The default setting (the first radio button on that screeen) is fine for most computer based video. Click "Next" to start the process
You only need to set the aspect ratio on the first video you create. After that Windows will remember the settings you selected during the process.
I tested this with the videos you provided and it worked like a charm.

No problem as I'm aways glad to assist when I can. I'm sure Premiere has a setting for the same thing however its been a several years since I've worked with it. I enjoyed the video of the Carrera GT as until today I haven't had a chance to see one in person. Some lucky soul has one waiting for him/her at the dealership in Austin. What a beautiful car it is in person, even better than in the photos.

Hey Thanks for sharing. My buddy was in the same PDE with you. I've heard that Master's Class is really excellent. He is moved to Blue group right away on our upcoming DE, skipping green group due to the enourmous driving skills you guys acquired from it(PDE).
Congrats!!
