Is that what it means, or is it because I did the test on a cold car after disconnecting the battery for something entirely different.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

2 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

After CEL came on last week, I went out and got an EQUUS 3100 tester. After some difficulty gettting the tester to work, I got the final code P0134 Cross-Referencing with the Code Booklet: P0134 = O2 Sensor Circuit No Activity Detected (Bank1 Sensor 1) All of my CEL issues started after I had a short sliding my radio head-unit into the dash, could I have popped the O2 sensor fuse? Is that what it means, or is it because I did the test on a cold car after disconnecting the battery for something entirely different. Thinking it was a MAF issue, I have alredy cleaned the MAF. Thanks so much for any help you can offer, Scott

POST 2Original post

P0134 indicates that the DME unit does not "see" any voltage from the left side (bank 1) front O2 sensor. With your scanner, you should be able to read the O2 sensor voltages, all four of them. All four of the O2 sensors are powered from a common O2 relay and fuse 4, fuse holder "C". Your problem is not the MAF if the other 3 O2 sensors read O.K. You may have a short in the O2 signal wire to the DME unit or a bad O2 sensor.

This is a source reference. Confirm exact model applicability in the original material.
