Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

4 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

I am planning to replace the "supple Leather" seats in my car with seats from a 997 GT3 that are being shipped. I know that the connectors are different and should be able to connect wires (as far as I know they weren't memory seats). The seats are heated, and I know that a while back, I came across a post on some Porsche forum with a picture indicating the wire terminal for the heat on the 997 seat. I have searched high and low, and can't find it again. Any help appreciated. There are several threads on the 997 to 996 seat swap, but any leads to some I may have missed would be appreciated. Thanks!

POST 3Original post

tel2931~ Did you ever get a diagram of the 997 seat wiring? Anybody have a pdf of the wiring schematic? TIA

POST 4Original post

I have that wiring diagram....but it's many pages.

This is a source reference. Confirm exact model applicability in the original material.
