Obviously those are all closed after I checked a few times but the "honk" still goes every time I lock the car.
Leading evidence: 'Check few times' (no explicit attributable resolution; this is a reported action or suggestion). Across 1 matching discussions, The most frequently discussed action is 'Check few times' (1 discussions). For that action, 0 discussions report a resolution and 0 report an unsuccessful attempt. No action has an explicit, attributable resolution report under the current rules. These are forum reports and suggestions, not a confirmed diagnosis.
Source reports, not a diagnosis or a success probability. Counts refer to discussions and can overlap.

After I've changed my radio on the 2002 996 C2 to a new Pioneer DVD/TV/iPod/bla bla bla head unit, the security keeps giving out a single "honk" after I lock up the car with remote.

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

Dear all, lovely community here....
After I've changed my radio on the 2002 996 C2 to a new Pioneer DVD/TV/iPod/bla bla bla head unit, the security keeps giving out a single "honk" after I lock up the car with remote.
All I understood about the honk was if I have some doors opened while lockup or glove box opened. Obviously those are all closed after I checked a few times but the "honk" still goes every time I lock the car.
Is there any quick fix to this matter or did the radio install guy already jammed up the electricals? Please kindly help....thanks!
This is common with aftermarket radios, the car thinks the radio is missing, IIRC or something like that. The new radio is not talking to the car's security system. I've read about fixes as simple as a piece of electrical tape on a contact.
I have a 1999 C2 with original radio. I don't know if this will help you. When I lock the car via the key button and only push the button one time, I hear 3 clicks and no horn pip. Then the red flasher starts on the dash center near the windscreen along with a red flasher on the radio. If I quickly push the key button two times, I hear two clicks, a pip and a third click and then the same two red lights starts flashing. Now I dont know if that is the way the security system is supposed to work. The car has to be parked in a quiet garage for you to hear the clicks. Hope that helps in some way.
Since you have the MOST system, then you might have a different problem. It sounds like you might need to scan the car for codes (example Durametric).

Just to add - I changed my head unit recently and had the 'honk' problem too.
I was advised to add some electrical tape to the side of the head unit, as on the OEM radios, to prevent the brown/blue wire/contact touching metal and sending a fault to the alarm.
I did this and it didn't fix it.
I had the head unit out again today and saw that the wire/contact was actually touching the metal cage for the new head unit, so the tape had no effect of course.
I slid a piece of plastic between the wire/contact and the outside of the cage.... No more honk :-)
