Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

And I was going to make a joke about My Mother The Car, but I'm probably the only one old enough to get it.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

10 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

  • Rennlist: 1 discussions

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

So I was detailing the interior today and after about an hour. With my keys in my POCKET the radio comes on and stayed on for another hour + wile I finished detailing the interior. When I shut the car down the radio was left on, and it was off when I exited the car. I had both doors open and the top down. I'm confused why the radio suddenly came on after about an hour. Is this A- Tipical???

POST 4Original post

The reason I asked is that a few months back someone was cleaning their car and touched the PSM and radio 'on' buttons at the same time. The radio came on. That was my only thought.

POST 5Original post

Did you push the power button, the radio will turn on without the keys in the ignition

POST 6 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

No I wasn't even working in that area I was working the leather conditioner into the front seats kneeling on the ground outside the car. Maybe wiped the area of the seat heaters but not near the radio.

POST 7Original post

Does the mute mode have a timeout...? You may have accidentally turned the radio on earler in mute mode.....

POST 8Original post

Is your car names Christine? and is the Odometer going backwards?

POST 9Original post

And I was going to make a joke about My Mother The Car, but I'm probably the only one old enough to get it.

POST 10Original post

Gladys Crabtree certainly kept a close eye "Headlight?" on her son David in that series.
