I seem to have some flexing in the calipers due to age and stress over the years, so I was thinking at looking at OEM used GT3 yellow calipers.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

I seem to have some flexing in the calipers due to age and stress over the years, so I was thinking at looking at OEM used GT3 yellow calipers. Do the GT3 OEM yellow 6 pistons fit under the stock 18" turbo/c4s wheels? I'm trying to find other alternatives as well (Alcon or Brembo aftermarket: Preferably Alcon) because it seems my calipers have started flexing no doubt to age and what they've been put through. I have a less than stiff brake feel and it's not the hoses. I'd like to accomplish this with stock wheel fitment as well. I know 997 cars suffered from this (with the OEM calipers not manufactured in Italy). The master cylinder and seals are ok. Trying to cure this issue before track season and without selling a kidney. Anyone know of a GT3 system available for sale? What about front/rear bias with the piston sizing? Is the 996 GT3 system fitted with a larger master cylinder with more capacity?
