I was doing my CF Cluster, so laying it flat and using the glue was NO big deal.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

22 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Well I finally had some time to add a few quick interior mods to my car. I have some being specially made as I type, eagerly awaiting the arrival of a box from BumperPlugs in a couple weeks. To start I added some Aluminum Sport Pedals, Aluminum Instrument Bezels & a Carbon Fiber Instrument Cluster Surround. Once my painted rear center console arrives from BumperPlugs, I'll finish the B&M Short Shifter Kit, Carbon Fiber Shifter, Carbon Fiber E-Brake, Carbon Fiber Center Horseshoe Console and new Custom made floormats with Porsche Silver logo. Here a few before and afters.

POST 3 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Exactly, one thing I did notice is the screws don't set completely flush! My thoughts exactly, but I'll just have live with it for now.

POST 4Original post

I ended up buying some black allen screws and they sit flush.

POST 7Original post

where's a good place to buy aluminum pedals for a Tip?

POST 9Original post

I like it. Pray tell do the silver instrument (dials) bezels just snap right in? Where to get them if they do? Thanks

POST 10Original post

Man, that makes a huge difference! imagine that silver/black steering wheeel ..ouffff..but its $1500

POST 11Original post

You have to apply something to make the bezels stick. You can use double sided tape like auto molding tape, or better yet, silicone. That way if you want to remove them you can do so easily and the clean up is simple and easy. Do NOT use any kind of glue!

POST 12 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

I bought the pedals from Suncoast. They have both kinds, Tip and 6 Speed.

POST 13 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Bezels were not snap in. You need to apply with silcone, double sided tape, like Tim stated. I didn't realize this before I installed them, so I used the glue that came with them. The biggest thing is to take the entire cluster completely out of the car and lay on a flat surface. If not, you'll have a mess dripping into the cluster. I would recommend tape or silicone if you are not going to take it out of the car!!! I was doing my CF Cluster, so laying it flat and using the glue was NO big deal. Just take your time or you will for sure have a MESS!!! Let me know if you need any help getting it out of the car?

POST 19Original post

I just just got the same pedals in the mail the other day and I'm planning on installing this weekend. I'm also thinking that I need to get the silver bezels seeing as how they look so good in your pictures

POST 20Original post
