When they replaced the engine I had them check the clutch etc and all was in good shape since I put a new flywheel in around 10 months ago.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

8 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

It's been a couple of weeks now since I had my new engine put in and all of a sudden there is a tweeting noise coming from around the clutch area. You can only hear it at idle and if I depress the clutch ever so slightly it goes away. When they replaced the engine I had them check the clutch etc and all was in good shape since I put a new flywheel in around 10 months ago. Anyone got any ideas before I take it up to the dealer? Cheers Sean

POST 3Original post

new engine 2 weeks ago - problems - one solution, take it back and say "fix it"

POST 4Original post

I agree, new engine = no issues, please address the noise and call me when it's fixed.

POST 6Original post

Throw out bearing if it sounds like this: The Whistler .

POST 7 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

No it doesn't sound like that one but yes taking it back to the dealer tomorrow. Just as well I have a spare lady in the garage.
