Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

7 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Was driving on the highway yesterday, cruising between 130kmh to 160kmh -- occassionally topping 170 - 180kmh. When i decelarated from these speeds towards 150kmh, the car started 'bouncing' as if it was on springs. Can anyone explain this? Thanks!

POST 2Original post

road surface - tire ballance - tire condition - near me there is a stretch of highway that really feels normal, but at speed there is a slight wobble in the pavement that will almost get you airborn - tire ballance, wheel ballance - sometimes this shows up at one speed and not others I had a tire separate, it wobbled at speed, but it was tough to feel on the side streets. Have them cheked otherwise I done know

POST 3Original post

I would check what Ed said above ^. Also, since the front end is light on these cars and a front "splitter" may help with this situation. Do a search on splitter and look for post by LVDell because he posted some particulars on two different types of splitters that you can mount below the front bumper cover.

POST 4Original post

Do you have the stock US suspension? If so, that's pretty much how they drive...might want to consider alternatives - just do a search here and you'll have plenty of options to research.

POST 5Original post

OH OH OH - your car is NOT equiped with option P991199 (so you think you can Disco) is it Airflow is interesting, I had not thought of that. Do you have pics of the car. It is possible that the flow is messed up depending on what is mounted to it. - also good call on shocks, another idea.

POST 6Original post

Put in **** carpeting in the rear - it will keep the "bouncing" down at higher speeds.
