Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

I didn't know that they have changed the policy of the factory tour, when I did it in 2007 it was FOC.

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

Hi all
I just visited the new Porsche museum in Stuttgart and thought I would share some pics from there.
The building is absolutely fantastic.
See for yourself...
I love the fact that you can get up close to the cars. The building design looks fantastic as well. Question: What was that model with all the little fans in the interior - a Zurich show car??
I love that little 914 just hangin' out. "Hey guys, I'm a Porsche too right?!"
I kid, those are cool and fun little cars--just looks so out of place next to millions and millions of dollars worth of fine automobile.
The car with all the fans is the original Boxster prototype that made the car show rounds in 1995.
If you would like your own personal brochure of that car, see my ad in the Rennlist Members Only - For Sale section under Factory Sale Brochures (shamelss cheap plug for my ad there).
I thought the car with all of the fans was a precursor to 'Gant's "U-boat." The fans are actually small propellers.... the side props control forward/reverse thrust and left/right turning, thereby eliminating the need for a rudder (which was not ascetically pleasing) ..... the props in the center console control surface/dive (or up/down) thrust.
Bingo!
I would say around 2-3 hours if you don't want to go in very deep details.
It cost 8,- Euros for an Adult and includes a "virtual guide" headsets with guidance and stories about all the cars.
The Dealership across the street is also worth a visit. Huge...
Remember to pre-book a tour on the factory, but do it now if you haven't already. There is a waiting list of sometimes 3 months
Factory tours have recently become very expensive. Since the opening of the museum, they have curtailed most factory tours unless you are taking delivery that day of your new Porsche. So, in effect, I would say that the factory tour also requires a sort of advanced registration fee of somewhere between $60,000 and $500,000 depending how much "tour" you order.
Also, they waive the entry fee (you get a nice embroidered voucher) and give you Head-of-Line privileges at the museum if you are taking delivery that day. For those not able to make long range decisions, the dealership across the street at the factory has a selection of new cars available for "immediate touring."
You don't have to book anything to go to the museum.
The opening hours are 9-18.
I didn't know that they have changed the policy of the factory tour, when I did it in 2007 it was FOC. Call them and ask.
Thanks for sharing more pics, also love the old school ones.
Automobile magazine has a write-up in the new issue, too.
Porsche is getting lots of publicity from this, never seen such excitement around a museum before, ha.
Where's my famous #23???
