Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

Does anyone know of a car transport company that is reliable and uses covered trailers. Shipping one of my cars from Portland, OR to Tucson, AZ?
Any recommendations.
Thx guys...
Jim
I just transported a car from California to Maryland and went through the same research. I repeatedly heard a couple of names that had good stories behind them: Intercity was one (is that the one affiliated with FedEx?), Horseless Carriage, Thomas Sunday are the ones I remember getting quotes from. They ranged from $1500 to $2000 and all were for enclosed carrier and 7-10 day delivery timeframe.
In the end I used Horseless Carriage and the service was good. They delivered in 7 days at a cost of $1500. The seats were covered in plastic and they did a pretty thorough pre-shipment review of the car. Of course, they all carry a good amount of insurance which, thankfully, I never had to find out about.
The one piece of advice I would have is not to use a broker and deal directly with the shipper. If you do a google search on auto transport companies, the vast majority of the names that pop up are merely brokers who will give you an estimate and then try to find a carrier that will deliver your car. They usually pocket a couple of hundred dollars for making a couple of telephone calls. From what I hear, if there's a problem, that $200 buys you zilch when it comes to resolving said problem. They basically tell you to just talk to the shipper, who of course, blames the broker.
Best wishes on your transport.

I wanted to use Intercity but it was 6 weeks b4 they could pick up my car. I used Passport (Fedex). I don't recommend b/c they damaged my car and won't stand behind it. They also played with the paperwork to make it look like damage was already there. I am about to take legal action against them. I need a $2100 paint job ! ********!!!
I have used InterCity and Horseless Carriage many times......never the slightest issue or problem........PCNA uses then for the high dollar stuff
Also have read that Thomas Sunday is great......but less availability
