Coverage and how to read this overview
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.
27 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.
Rennlist: 1 discussions
0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.
0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

This was my car the day I got it
Spent 2 days. Not bad at all
Taken today in front of the house. Was trying to get up to Angeles Crest Highway but the dang road is still closed after all this time.
pardon the bumper nick and missing washer cap. Looking for another person so I can pop the cover back on
Washed, clayed, polish with 1z paint polish, washed, menzerna Power Lock, 1z wax, all w/ a Porter Cable
I did the interior with leathermaster, 1z cockpit, sonax wheel cleaner, etc.

joyteen, that's one of the best looking C4s i know and one that's not afraid to be driven ALL the time.
that is what a porsche is all about. see you at LS with POC.
ouahhh looks superb, and great pics as well.
Question, did you 'tape' the car before using the porter cable ? I mean to cover all joints and other things that should not be polished ?
I need to take lessons from you in detailing. I have all the equipment but can't seem to get the car to that next level. I'm currently at 101k miles too...
Yeah, you have a dark colored car which won't hide much. My car's nose has some tiny stone chips here and there, but the color is sort of like silver so it it doesn't offer up contrast to something that' not the car color.
I had a black car and it was simply a lost cause. I think the tools are more important as well and while the PC was acceptable in its day, I may be buying a Flex tool soon which makes the task much easier and quicker. The PC doesn't have the ooomph.
Yeah my problem is the numerous little stone chips on the front end of the car. Very noticeable after going through my version of a detail. Once I know Spring is here for good I'll try to take a weekend to really try to get my car cleaned up.
This thread inspired me to wash and wax my car last night after I put the kids to sleep.
However, I'm getting old and my arms are tired. I may have to get a PC in the future.
