Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Those should work, but check the offsets to make sure they are narrow body wheels.
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

Just saying hello, I am from Pittsburgh and just picked up a pretty nice '99 Carerra 4.
I am looking for a set of winter wheels and tires for it. Does anyone know a good source new/used?
I also owned an '83 928S last year which I sold. It's not cool as what I have now though.
I guess pictures would be good. I am going to probably sell the Fiske wheels and tires on it... They are awful expensive wheels... I am terrified of damaging them!
I would strongly suggest Kijiji or Craiglist. I have found several sets with tires here in Canada for $1K or so with decent tires on OEM rims. This is a great deal. eBay may also work, but the selection is less diverse. You can also call Damon, he is great to deal with (but based on their website supplies of 17"tires are low).
Blasphemy!!!
Don't, you will regret it later
PS. Nice Car!! Mine is being delivered today!

I was going to call on these... Are they a fair deal? I see that the wheels are repops and not factories.
Those should work, but check the offsets to make sure they are narrow body wheels. The standard offsets for the fronts are 50 and for the rears 65. The rar tires 265/40-18 are slightly taller than the stock 265/35-15, but I have been running this size on my C4 for 3 years without any problems.
I would offer a little less than the asking price.
I would also suggest that you look at 17" if you can offers better traction in the winter.
17" Rims that will fit are
Front 17 x 7 et 52 to 55
Rear 17 x 8.5 or 9 et 47 to 55
This is agreat tool to check if a rim/tire combo will fit.

Thanks for all the help.... What's a good asking price for the Fikse wheels? They are 18" with Toyo Proxes... The rubber is new, 265/30R18 rear 245/40R18 front, wheels are in almost new shape... I can't find much for them used except for the one ad on here...
Sorry for all the questions.
Nuts to sell 'em. They're gorgeous on that car. Get a set of dedicated winter wheels/tires. Just my $0.02. I had dedicated winter wheels/tires on my 4S (interestingly, they were the same as the dedicated summer wheels/tires).
+1 Get dedicated (winter) wheels and tires. It will make the switch over so very easy.I did tire rack a few years ago when I got my car I was very pleased with them.It is a very fun car to drive in the snow.
