Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Coverage and how to read this overview
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.
22 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.
Rennlist: 1 discussions
0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.
1 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.
Feels like a few weeks ago I was posting about putting my winter rims on the car. Now I'm thinking of putting the summer wheels on soon. If time flys like this, I may sell my winter wheels and just not drive the car when it snows, etc.
With the economy in the toilet, I guess I'm lucky to have a "problem" like this!
+14c here today...going to wash the car this afternoon, but I'll hold off on swapping the wheels/tires for a few more weeks. Last weekend of March is usually when I go back to summer shoes.
dont get in too big of a hurry, I put mine on today and noticed that there is A LOT of debris on the road the summer tires pick up that the winters left on the road........ sounds bad, I will switch back after my weekend helping at the "skills day"
I think wait till the sand and what not gets cleaned off a bit before pulling on the big tires....
Good point! Winter tires are the "beater" tires, so it's probably best to leave them on until the winter is OVER. I'll wait till March 21 (weather permitting).
Summers never left the car. No biggie as I didn't really drive it much over the winter. Can't wait though, first autocross is March 27th!
Need to clean radiators and I'll be ready to go!
one more note... the summer tires dont like the cold...
This morning it was 27 degrees, sunny and dry. When I popped onto the freeway, around the corner and on the gas in 2nd, the rear broke loose at 5800 rpm or so... FUN ! I throttled thru to the shift point near 7K and she flattened out for the delivery of the 3rd gear power....
It was fun, but I was also in an area with no other cars.... keep it in mind when you are "on the gas" They are a bit loose in cold weather
(either that or my new 15+ IHP added with the new mufflers really added more "power" than I thought
)
Winters staying on for at least another 4 weeks. We get lots of snow in March up here. ( none yet touch wood). Can't wait to change em though. I picked up a used set of turbo hollow twists for my summer PS2's. Interested to see how they effect handling and response.
Love hollow Twists - best of both worlds for me since I love Twist rims, and lighter is better of course!
I can't wait to put my 18" Twists back on. I notice an immediate improvement in handling, even turning a corner in the street.
