I had a Blaupunkt head unit with BT, the road noise is just too much to use a hands free (and I had a complete Dynamat makeover).

Coverage and how to read this overview
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

Couldn't find much with a search. I'm trying to get a kit where bluetooth is "broadcasted" thru the radio speakers....not sure if that's possible.
Any advice is appreciated.

Alpine is producing a rather exotic radio (if you want to just call it a "radio") that is modular and can be equipped to include GPS and navigation, as well as Bluetooth for telecommunications.
I went for a Tooki module for my 997 and it works seamlessly with my Razr.
Here are a couple of off-the-wall ways to attack your bluetooth dilemma.
First...cheap and a little klutzy...
A Garmin 660 can be played through your radio with it's own little low power FM transmitter. It has bluetooth in it and it will play mp3 files from an SD card that you load into one side. So, although you lose the ability to to tune to either FM or AM local stations, you can still listen to music from the SD card. With a 4GB card you can load about 750 of your favorite songs and play them through your car's speakers. When a call comes in it will mute the music and play the phone call through the speakers. And as a no cost added benefit you get a navigation system with the turn directions also being played through the cars speakers. I used this set up once on a road trip with the Wifely-Unit from a little town in Wisconsin to our home here in Texas. The low cost part is that this Garmin can be had for about $300.
Second option...more costly but works great and looks good...
Just have a Pioneer Nav F900bt installed. This unit has navigation, bluetooth, AM, FM, will play MP3 files from a CD, DVD, or SD card. For a little more money you can add iPod integration (I didn't), XM Radio (I did), and a backup camera (I didn't). Oh....and did I mention it will also play movies from a DVD? I've really been pleased with this unit. The downside is that you have to move the A/C control panel, but that's not that hard.
Good luck with whatever you decide to do.
thanks everyone! Great recommendations, but I don't want to replace my stock radio. I did some more research, and it looks like Motorola has a unit for about 100 bucks....uses the FM transmitter, kinda like what the parrot and garmin do. I might look into that....
It's called Motorola Rokr 205T....or something like that.

You may want to double-check that the Motorola is full-duplex. I was considering their T505 but after reading a couple of reviews discovered it lacks this feature, which means only one person can speak at a time. Doesn't seem to matter much but in reality can make for disjointed (and annoying) conversation. I do know the Parrot models are full-duplex.
I have had the Parrot 3200 for about 3 years. Flawless operation, color screen, wired into CDR-220 that kicks into phone mode and plays on the speakers. I did a short writeup a long time ago. Search my handle and "parrot" in the title.

The top dollar Clarion head units do BT through the speakers. And you can get a Ipod connection for it as well.
Not cheap. Bout a G for the head. And the stock amp in a 996 isn't enough to play nice with it so there is another 500 for a decent amp.
The day after I picked up my 996 I dropped 3K on redoing the entire sound system. Single DIN Clarion head with a popup screen, XM, Intergrated NAV , the works. Haven't regretted it a bit.
ok....just bought the motorola, which seems to be one of the best for that type of unit. I just want to keep it simple....and it was only 46 bucks shipped. I'll report back once I play around with it. I'm not on the phone that much, but I really hate the ear pieces now....total pain...in the earse.

I have the Motorola T505. I paid $43 including shipping from ebay. I never use the fm transmitter because it gets distorted as you travel. I always use the built in speakers, however, at times its not loud enough, especially at higher speeds. Overall great buy for the price and very reliable.
Hope this helps.
Hi labikes...great to hear...thanks so much. I will be using it in my grand cherokee...which is super quiet inside...even at 100 mph, so hopefully I won't have any issue with noise.
Arnee...I really don't want to mess with wiring...at all, but thanks for the recommendation.
