Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

24 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 11Original post

OK, here goes.... I'll type this slowly so you can follow along..... insert tab A into slot A...... insert tab B into slot B..... etc, ect. Got it???? BTW, I told you in the PM not to worry about trying to find that quarter that dropped out of your pocket and slid under the seat! BUt did you listen to me..... NOOOOOOooooooo!

When I disassembled my center console I found a whole boat load of quarters in there. Then both of the little plastic screws from the ashtray fell under the passenger seat -- I only got one out. I was just about ready to take the seat out when I realized that it probably slipped down into the body pan and so I would need to put the car on blocks and buy a whole new set of tools so I could remove the body pan to fetch the plastic screw... Screw that! It's just a plastic screw. On the other hand, I did end up with one leftover interior screw. Hmm, I wonder where that was supposed to go.

That screw goes in the rattle you will get next month

POST 14 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Thanks for the help... I'm deeply moved (I can't find the right icon to insert here). How much do you think I could get for it AS IS?

POST 15Original post

That will take at least the weekend to put back together.

I had a similar experience... but the screw didn't come from the car. It came from my head...it finally gave.

Talking about being deeply moved, you found me a "twin turbo" kind of deep motion!

POST 22Original post

that is why you should bring your car to the dealer and not try doing it yourself~!

POST 23Original post

Quotes source post: 6381507

Actually, that is the dealer. That's why they charge $400 for an oil change.
