Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Coverage and how to read this overview
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

Hi Folks,
My TiVo picked the Top Gear show on Discovery Channel tonight. Must watch!!! They feature a 996 vs. BMW-6 vs. Jag XK-R on a sandy beach in Wales. Talk about fun! There's plenty other treats as well, so check your local listings. I'm sure it will be repeated this week.
Cheers.
Top show. one of the things i've missed since moving to the USA has arrived too.
Unfortunately after the Quattroporte and the Koenigsegg (sp.) my wife fell asleep on the sofa
Oh well
Great shots in the sand. That beautiful racing green jag was all over the 996 in the looks department though........Now a 996 turbo or a stocker with some aesthetic upgrades, now that would be a different story.....
that show is the reason I bought a BoxsterS. They did a show on the best open air sportscar. I didn't know much about the Boxster before watching this show (even though I participate in PCA autocross events not many Boxsters there). After watching former f1 driver Tiff Needell whipping the Boxster around a circuit and heaping nothing but praise on it I started looking for one the next day. A week later I found a 2000 S model with 10K miles.
In went GT3 seats and Toyo RA-1's and I'm good.
Yup, caught the program last night, and it was magnificent with all the drifting they were doing with the three cars on the beach. What surprised me was how "dated" the NA 996 looked compared to the 645i and the XKR. The age of its styling isn't really noticeable until stacked up against the others. The classic lines of the 911 are still beautiful to me, however. Great show.
I've had my DVR programmed to record "Porsche" shows for a long time, but just got around to watching this particular episode tonight. It's entertaining, that's for sure.
I think my favorite segment was seeing the 2CV destroyed by the 747. Gives the pilot's term of "wake turbulence" a whole new meaning!
