Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

12 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Hi Guys. I'm confused. Can someone please elaborate which 996 models are widebody and which are narrowbody? I'm trying to buy some wheels and want to make sure they fit. Is the 996 C4 (non-S) considered a widebody?

POST 2Original post

996 Turbo and C4S are Widebody. The rest are Narrow. A regular C4 is a narrowbody.

A 996 C4 is a narrow body. Only the Turbo and C4S were wide body for the 996

LoL that's all it takes.

Are all Targas Narrow body? I saw one the other day and it looked like a wide body.

996 Targas = Narrow 99 7 Targas = available in wide and narrow.

POST 9Original post

I believe all 997 targas are wide body since they are 4 or 4S. No RWD targa 997s IIRC.

Look at it another way, J Lo or Hale Berry? See, isn't that easier?

Thanks for all the responces! I've been trying to find out if the Turbo Twists would fit. Some say yes, some say no. They are 8x8 and 8x11. I'm guessing the fronts would fit, but the rears would not. What kind of issues would I run into if I mounted the rear wheels?
