Read evidence and context
Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

0 original-poster resolution reports. Counts can overlap; they are not unique people or a success rate.
0 discussions have direct query context; 0 report a fix in that context. Other evidence may inherit the discussion’s subject.
Suggestion
Did yours end with a 38-24-34 blonde changing your oil?
Leading evidence: 'Replace oil' (no explicit attributable resolution; this is a reported action or suggestion). Across 1 matching discussions, The most frequently discussed action is 'Replace oil' (1 discussions). For that action, 0 discussions report a resolution and 0 report an unsuccessful attempt. No action has an explicit, attributable resolution report under the current rules. These are forum reports and suggestions, not a confirmed diagnosis.
Source reports, not a diagnosis or a success probability. Counts refer to discussions and can overlap.
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

Not figuratively, but literally. I had a dream last night that I went back and visited an old place of employment, in a rough neighborhood. And when I came out, I was horror stuck to see that my 996 had been stripped on the street! The thieves had taken the headlights and tail lights, the wheels (it had a doughnut spare on one corner and the others were held up with cinder blocks), interior, even the roof and trunk lid were removed! The thieves had then placed a truck cap on top of it - to hide their work?? - and it made it look like some kind of mutant VW Thing with square wheels.
I woke up in a perplexed sweat - 4:00 am. Phew, just a nightmare!
Van:
You are spending way to much time in "the city" or are paying too much attention to the "public works of art/sculpture" littered along the highways on the way down to "the city." either that or you need to lay off the crack pipe......lol, just kidding folks..........are you not wearing our mask whilst thou be powder coating?????
If all you did was wake up in a "perplexed sweat" after that fear dream, you are one cool dude, Van. I would have come to screaming in fear, reaching for my
LC Smith and my LCR with the same hand, and missing them both............
Too weird. My other car is a mutant VW Thing with square wheels, and I had a dream that a team of elves, or possibly lawn gnomes (wearing trucker hats) outfitted the VW with parts that made it look like 996. I wonder if these events are somehow connected?
