Hi I am new to this board. I am not new to Porsches and can usually be found on theEarlySRegistry. I have to admit that I have had my head buried in the sand for a long time. I really had not been closely following the newer offerings, being content with a bone stock 67S soft window Targa and a 1900 lb 914-6 3.2 short stroke 280 hp hot rod. I have been started to catch wind of the fun and value the gt3 offers. Are ther any threads that do a good job educating a newbie like myself to your world? I am thinking I just might need of of these in my garage and would like to know model year changes, production numbers, performance differences etc. Links to any of your favortie threads or sites would be greatly appreciated. Tom, Welcome to Rennlist. Your best bet would be to post this same thread on the 996 GT2/GT3 Forum here on Rennlist. They will be able to give you a much better overview of the 996 GT3.
