Need help on this one. The 'Check Engine' light came on, and it felt like the car wasn't running even in the engine. It smelt burned. What can be the cause ? The car hasn't been driving for about 10 days, and it has been very cold and snowy, can the frost be the cause?

Do you have access to an OBD 2 Reader to run the faults. Or if there is an Autozone near you, they may do it for free. I am leaning towards bad gas as the culprit but a code reader will help sort this out
