Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

We do recommend GE Silicone I or II for installation, not glue.
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

I like the look of the aluminum gauge rings as I think it will complement my acrtic silver exterior and silver gauge cluster. I found a few on ebay.com for between $130-$140 shipped. Anybody have these or comments? Any supporting vendors carry these for around the same price? I assume they are all the same.

They sell them with super glue, don't use it. I would recommend silicone sealer or two sided tape. If you do use sg, it can get on your guage face and really screw it up. It happened to me, I used acetone followed by armourall spray, andit cleared it up. Porsche tequipment sells them, fvd does as well. I think Eric at Bumper plugs has the best deal on the oem ones. I used fvd's, wish I had called Eric first.
I purchased a set from Brandywine that were not Porsche brand. It was implied they were made by a company who make Porsches rings. Brandywine was great in providing a second set since the quality on the first set was not good. The second set proved just a bad as the first so they will be returned as well. Here are a few photos, in real life the lack of quality is much more apparent.
careful, they come in anodized, chrome, silver, etc.etc. look which may or may not conflice with other bling on car. I would get them from Eric...
and DEFINITELY use silicone. You may hve to hold them in place, but at least you can remove them w/o damage if desired.
Yeah, we have 'em. And they are aluminum. And our full instruction sheet will guide you through it. We do recommend GE Silicone I or II for installation, not glue.
Ours are directly from the oem supplier to Porsche.
