Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

5 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

I just spotted this. I love mine and Aasco makes a great product. I am not affiliated. If nobody bids, it will be a steal for somebody. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Porsc...1%7C240%3A1318

POST 4Original post

+1 on buying a used flywheel. Need to find someone local to Lomita to check it out. Great deal though......hate when opportunities like this arise and and are SO tempting.

POST 5 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

I bought mine used off a 6-speed member. It was damaged during shipping and Aasco took care of it for me. If you could get this one for a good price and have it shipped to Aasco (which is near Lomita) for reconditioning (very inexpensive)....that would be the way to go. They replaced the friction surface, the locating dowels, polished out the divot (from being dropped), and rebalanced it for almost nothing. I have never dealt with a company that had better customer service. The person that helped me was the owner, Randy.
