Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

8 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

  • Rennlist: 1 discussions

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Looking for extra leg room for my 2002 996 coupe. Any ideas, rails, etc ???

POST 2Original post

I am 6'3" with a 34" inseam and can't put the seat all the way back because I wouldn't be able to push the clutch all the way to the floor. I guess you could to attempt to move the rails further back.

POST 3Original post

GT3 Euro Seats with Brey-Krause side mounts and the GT3 Console delete. done. (I am 6'-6").

POST 4Original post

Look at the rear mounting area of the floor, and see if there is an extra set of mounting holes about 1/2 inch back. The older models had them, and they were covered in black paper tape. Removal of the seat is not required to check this out, just slide it all the way forward. Steve

POST 6Original post

Apologies, but this is nothing to do with the original post!! Hey Chad, Are those Sport Design's on your 996? Did you have them powder coated or painted Black?? I'm looking to get a set for my Blk on Blk 996!! Where did you purchase them from? Cheers, Karl.
