Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

0 original-poster resolution reports. Counts can overlap; they are not unique people or a success rate.
0 discussions have direct query context; 0 report a fix in that context. Other evidence may inherit the discussion’s subject.
Leading evidence: 'Check car out' (no explicit attributable resolution; this is a reported action or suggestion). Across 1 matching discussions, The most frequently discussed action is 'Check car out' (1 discussions). For that action, 0 discussions report a resolution and 0 report an unsuccessful attempt. No action has an explicit, attributable resolution report under the current rules. These are forum reports and suggestions, not a confirmed diagnosis.
Source reports, not a diagnosis or a success probability. Counts refer to discussions and can overlap.
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

Looking at a Carmon Red 04 vert with 34K miles, listed at 59K....has the hardtop, Tecnic, usual stuff.
the black book is 57. She is CPO (and still has 4 months factory remaining).
The kicker is....she has SAT on their lot for 270 days. Wont move. They are "motivated".
Doing the deal on the internet, what should I offer? 49? 47? 52? They want my bottom line, but I dont know what that is.
thanks
urb
With CPO you will not be able to buy that car for less than $55k and I'd be surprised if you got them down that low. That is the Manheim range for that car.
Does this car have a new CPO or just 4 months left of the previous? Spring is just around the corner now perhaps they are waiting it out... I hope you get a great deal!
This is definitely a buyers market right now. Start low... you can always decide to up the ante later but if you start too high and they accept right away, you'll feel crappy about the deal!
they CPOd it last June, but the 2 years wont start until I buy it.
i've been told the Carmon is purple, too. I consider it more burgandy. oh well.
i just dont know what to offer lol
That is actually one of my favorate colors. Why not try for $50K and be willing to work up from there. If they are hungry they will tell you the bottom line but since it is from a Porsche dealer my price estimate stands.
I hate to say this since I have a C4S, but low-ball them at $47. Few people like purple, they should thank their stars you are one of them. No dealer will refuse to deal on ANY offer, particularly if the offer comes from one who had a Porsche in the past and they know can afford it. You won't know how low you can go unless you try. Not only is it a buyers market, it sounds like you are in no hurry to buy. Perfect position for you.
i keep seeing "purple" lol, i dont want to be laughed at. HAHA. God this is hard.
manny, yup from a dealer, who certified it.
Palting, nope no hurry. In fact I'll have more income in July, so I
should
be waiting anyhow.
Even I think 47 is a bit low for a 04 4S CPO Cab. But what he hell. They can play with my trade numbers if I trade....give me high black book, and low for theirs. But with an auction price of about 55 I just dont think there is alot of room. Why wouldnt they just wholesale it, unless nobody in the US wants it? jeez
they may have sent it to the auction already ... not to mention that this time of the year ain't good for convertibles and factor in the media's sky is falling hype about the economy... also the auctions are going to cost them a percentage to sell the car ...
