Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

I think the exact value the computer needs is 2.8 ohms but I use the 3 ohm and no airbag lights on the boxster nor my GT3.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

4 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

Hello all, I recently installed a Momo Prototipo in my 986S and since the 996 is the same I figured I'd share. I hope it helps someone !! You Tube

POST 2Original post

@drola Thanks for documenting the MOMO install. Great timing as I ordered a MOD. 07 wheel a couple of days ago and hope to get it in this weekend. What value resistor did you use and did you need to add a spacer on the hub? Here are some helpful part numbers. 964 652 104 00 - Horn contact plate 999 652 639 22 - Electrical pin for steering column

thanks for those part numbers. Since I had the parts I didn't look them up but for people looking to do the swap I should post them up. I'll edit my description to include them. The resistor I used is a generic 3 ohm resistor. I think the exact value the computer needs is 2.8 ohms but I use the 3 ohm and no airbag lights on the boxster nor my GT3. Amazon Amazon

Cool video. Care to sell your OEM black one? I'm looking for one for my 01 C4.
