Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

1 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

  • Rennlist: 1 discussions

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

All, Couple of questions. I have approx 15,000 on a set of Dunlop 9090 front tires and they show a lot of wear on the extreme edges, perhaps 1/2" from the very edge of the tread pattern, and past the contact patch when the car is driving in a straight line. The front drivers side is worse than the passenger side. The rest of the tire has lots of life left. Is this normal ?? Do i need a re-alignment? Is there a better alignment for "spirited" driving ? Did i cause this on the AX course and Skip Pad ? Im planning to do a DE day next month... is there an alignment spec for this that can be used on the road everyday ?.. im a complete Newbie to the track, but dont want to burn thru a set of tires every event if possible. I took it to the tire installers and they said i couldnt swap fronts between sides as it would screw up the handling. Is this right ? I only have 15,000 on the car and im on the third set of rears. I thought the fronts would also last a bit longer than 15k. Thanks for the advice
