Suggestion · Original poster

The 996 was such an overnight leap that in my humblest of opinions after all the changes the 991 and 992 have endured, its only now hybridity has arrived in the 992.2 GTS that they can match it."

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

8 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

What makes a 911 a 911? We cannot say, anymore, that its round headlight, air-cooled*, left-side key to turn, manual transmission, physics-compromised weight distribution attributes make a 911. Rear-engined, lightweight,** superb handling, fast, reliable sports car is about all we have now. *all cars are technically air-cooled (boats are water cooled) **relatively

POST 4Original post

Actually thats not correct from a mechanical engineering viewpoint. The medium that actually conducts heat from the actual source generating the heat,,, is liquid coolant. So 'Liquid Cooled' is the proper term for our 996..... lol

POST 5Original post

Quotes source post: 19495868

Key word being "medium"...from a design and engineering standpoint , the "middle man" ( water/liquid) is less important than the "bigger" beginning and end of the "heat transfer process" ...air. ..........Marine/boat engines are true water/liquid cooled ....not air cooled
