Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Amigo's My Front Bonnet is becoming increasingly damaged from the wonderful NJ highways, I did see however in one the P-Car mags (Tweeks, I think) a replace bonnet in Carbon Fiber for my Black Beauty.

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

Amigo's My Front Bonnet is becoming increasingly damaged from the wonderful NJ highways, I did see however in one the P-Car mags (Tweeks, I think) a replace bonnet in Carbon Fiber for my Black Beauty. The price was $800.00 US - has anyone had any experience with this ? If not, what are my other choices? Thanks in advance...
there is a guy on 6speed with a CF hood on his turbo... Also, I believe dead_eye here on Rennlist had a CF hood and the fitment was somewhat off.
The Gemballa hood on Paul's car is sweet as well. I would get that one...
I have the Gemballa CF hood and put the clear mask over the whole thing. It looks great and is very light but exspensive, 2200. It weighs 5 lb. It was hard to fit and still is not as tight on the seams as the original hood and on one side the body shop had to shim up the finder on one side. I am the only one who notices and the 993 hood scoop sets the car apart from the rest ( both of us in Wyoming). My old hood used to get beat up by rock chips but now no problems. Will
RJMDAD996: s'up man.
the fitment on my hood wasn't perfect. sent it over 2 a body shop and had them fix it up and now it looks slick.
hopefully it won't clash too much with my impending body kit.
Hey thanks Jon..... If I were going to do do it again it would be the Gemballa ...again. The fit and finish is great , not alot of prep work, but its dam expensive, here is a pic to help you deside maybe.
I've had 2 CF hoods in 3 years on my car and to be honest, do NOT expect the fitment to be as good as factory. Also leaving it out and exposed to the elements tends to warp it etc... and it becomes a PIA to refit it...
^ i've seen some photos of ur car man, and its looks bloody brilliant on it, if that's "not perfect", i can live with that lol. (same applies 2 u paul).
Thanks man.. very kind of you! It's funny sometimes it fits and then the sun just seems to warp it and it needs to get re-aligned again. I don't believe it fits as well as the gemballa hood but then again it's not 2.5k either
You can see here where sometimes it fits well and other times it's just off:
