Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

I replaced my coils last year before winter storage and it ran fine. Today I pulled it out and ended up getting misfire code CELs(P0300, P0302, P0304). I figured I needed to check the coils again and sure enough I found 2 that weren't fully clipped on. I guess the lesson here is to pull back the coil boots after you install them to make 100% sure they are fully clipped on since its a hassle to do this type of job twice. By pulling the boot back, you can do a visual rather than relying upon feel or having to listen for a click sound. I guess something as trivial as this can stump people from time to time.

POST 2Original post

Well your not the only one. Did the exact same thing yesterday. This morning I went back out to check the clip on the one coil pack that I had unplugged and low and behold.....it wasn't clipped. Went for a drive and not cel's. Hey, it happens.
