Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

The R888's are in the garage waiting for mounting....PFC pads showed up last week and I have a new to me used set of GT3 sways ready to go on.

Hopefully the rain coming tomorrow night will wash the roads enough so I can take her for a spin.....next up, a wipe down and a trip to CT for new brake fluid and clutch fluid...then I will probably change the rotors and put in new pads, shortly thereafter.

I let her run for about 25 mins to get the temp up to proper operating temps...didn't take her out yet, as the road here are still covered with gravel and sand.

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

Today I took the cover off, after about 4 months of hibernation. We had a sunny 50 degree day here in the East and everyone was working outside...the sun felt great, patio furniture came out, beds raked, etc. etc., as the day began to wane I thought I'd try and paint one of my wheels with Black Plasti-Dip, came out kinda nice, I will most likely finish the other three tomorrow.
So, with trepidation, I took the cover off, rolled her out of the garage, removed the trickle charger blew her a kiss and twisted the key.......
1st shot, she fired right up!!!!...boy did that feel great!!!!!

"The season" is upon us....1st track event is end of April in NJ with Shattenbaum PCA. (Lightning and Thunderbolt!).......the excitement continues to build!
Gotta love Spring, here in the East.
I agree with Dennis...can't imagine not driving it. As for the track I'm getting giddy Scott. The R888's are in the garage waiting for mounting....PFC pads showed up last week and I have a new to me used set of GT3 sways ready to go on. 1st track day is last weekend in April. Love this time of year.
When I get back from the UK in about 3 weeks I will hoist the hard top up to the garage ceiling and raise the soft top ready for the summer. I drive mine at least 3 times every week anything from 25 to 100 miles per outing all year round. Strange how I am still using the same battery which a Porsche Garage said was no good almost 2 years ago. I have been very wary of Porsche Lancaster since that day and try to do all of my preventative maintenance myself. So far so good. Spring is knocking on the door here in SE PA.
Another 3-4 weeks before the snow and ice melt off our driveway enough to pull out of our garage. Will also give the road crews more time to fill our monster potholes!
I am jealous of you guys!
Hey guys-
When you live in the East, you get used to it.....I used to live in CA for a short while, while there are benefits, its just not for me.
@Pete- let me know how you like the PFC's, I'm thinking of 01/06's
@pszkla- I am headed your way in May, hope to meet you at LCMT?????
@Gonzo- I have a cousin in AZ, not sure it would be for me.
@Dennis- wife spent considerable time in Boulder, I have visited, interesting place...but no water........killer weather, tho......
I can't imagine parking my P-car for 6 months every year - it would drive me crazy. Not time to remove the hardtop and winter wheels yet, but it will be in another month!
It does make every spring very special when the cars are awoken from their slumber......
The roads are not worthy of mine yet, but I may wake them up today and move them from the shop to the garage.
I have been looking forward to this day for several weeks now.
I chose 08 F / 01 R. Been using Carbotech's RP2 pads the past couple of years. Very interested in how the PFC's act but what I've read the pads will be an improvement. I'll let you know.
