Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

28 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

  • Rennlist: 1 discussions

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Sold my 1991 Carrera 2 a few weeks ago, and picking up a 2002 996 4S in 1 day Have just ordered the Solisto solution for the ancient PCM1 in order to get iPod connection. A few photos taken by the previous owner. Christmas has come early

POST 4Original post

I think that the blue 2002 C4S is quite possibly the finest example of the 996 that you can buy! Strong work! Looks great!

POST 5Original post

Very nice! It's similar to my 2004 C4S save the interior, which is Graphite. Beautiful! -Michael

POST 6 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Thanks for the comments! Interior is actually Metropole Blue, but looks black unless in direct light... Can't wait for Wednesday :-)

POST 7Original post

Sweet car, I love the white gauges. I may put them on mine some time down the road. Wednesday is on its way....

POST 8Original post

POST 14Original post

Beautiful C4S, nice color combo. Wednesday probably won't come fast enough for you, welcome to the water cooled Porsche enthusiasts.

POST 16Original post

Very nice color and of course the car! Love those 4S's

POST 17 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

thanks very much for all the comments :-) €1600/year for OPC warrantly - yes/no?? passed full 111 point check on friday at the OPC with flying colours, and many positive comments on its condition. am really in 2 minds on the OPC extended warranty....

POST 18Original post

Nothing beats those wide hips Enjoy in good health!

POST 19Original post

Welcome. As a C4S owner - you'll love it. I have some family just outside of Saarbrucken. I'd love to get back to Luxembourg some day.

POST 20Original post

Like the interior trim. And love the rear tail lamp on the wide body.

POST 26Original post

Very nice! Clearly the best colour ... I have '04 in same exterior colour but with soft black interior. The 'S' badge here in Australia is boring old silver ... see photo I added mObridge for ipod/bluetooth to my PCM2.

POST 27 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

S badges are the same here, but the previous owner had it painted red by the OPC. Solisto is the only iPod option for PCM1 - should be delivered next week :-)

POST 28Original post

I really like the rear bumper cover without the bumperettes! Looks much cleaner than the U.S. version!
