Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

6 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

  • Rennlist: 1 discussions

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

Generation: 20261026T124918Z · outcome-qualification-6. Deterministic extraction; no AI model inference. How we use sources

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

On my way home to Charlotte from a trip to Detroit at 80mph on I-77 my left rear tire blew out I almost lost control of the car but I believe the PSM stepped in and likely saved my life helping me regain control, any comments on this would be appreciated

POST 2Original post

Glad you are ok! Don't know much about the PSM so I can't chime in on that part.

POST 3Original post

Glad you're okay! There a thread here, see post 7 for a good explanation - https://rennlist.com/forums/987-foru...ml#post2826871

POST 4 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

So am I correct in assuming that it's possible PSM would have intervened in such a situation

POST 5Original post

Yes, it intervened. No reason why it wouldn't; sensor signals were evaluated, deviation from stable vehicle behaviour detected and found great enough to intervene, so it did. Glad for you it went the way it did. My unsolicited advice: take it as a hint to check tyre pressure in all 4 tyres in shorter intervals than you did up to now (in all the vehicles you have keys for) 😀
