Hi guys, ever since my car was a couple years old I've had issues with the rear hatch latch, It always opens fine, but it's a problem to get it to closed. The latch does not suck the glass down completely once it's closed... Anyone else have this issue? Further more does anyone know where to get the part and whats involved in changing it out? the car is an 02 targa Thanks for any input! Shalil

Mine misbehaves as well. If I re-push the open button, then it works properly.

Initially mine would work if the button was pressed again, but it progressively got worse, the only way I can now close it is if some one puts pressure on it while i pull and then reinsert the fuse for the hatch... and in all honesty I only ever opened that hatch about 15 times....
