Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

just curious...had you done anything to the computer map/chip such as Softronic tuning when you changed headers and ran dyno tests?

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

10 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

  • Rennlist: 1 discussions

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

For anyone that has been following my web site with an interest in the performance of the different 996 exhaust options I have experimented with - I have just updated my web site with the dyno comparisons of the stock OEM header and the low cost headers commonly available on ebay. Here is the web page, dyno link is under "What's the latest" http://www.oz951.com/public/emmy.htm

POST 2Original post

not suprising. I believe another memeber did a similar test a few years back and saw basically the same results, maybe even a few more hp lost than you saw. Thank you for the time and effort, your site is always a great resource. Andy

Yeah I heard the claim of 10hp lost but never saw a dyno chart to back it up hence my wish to see it for myself.

POST 4Original post

good job..... you get what you pay for. BTW, love the website! Also, the aerokit looks great!

POST 6Original post

really nice website ! I wish it would be organized a little better because it is a bit hard to read now, with the multi-column layout. Still great amount of information and pictures !

POST 7Original post

Lots of good info on your site, thanks for the work!

No I haven't touched the map yet, I wanted to settle on the exhaust/intake setup first. There is a guy with an excellent reputation for ECU tuning here in the UK but he is hard to get a hold of, anyway I'm planning on getting him to re-map the car interactively on his dyno. I have also added the dyno charts for flywheel HP and the AFR plots to the website.

nice... tunning will wake this car up.... especially the 3.4. Are you gonna dyno the results?
