2 weeks ago i ran into a chair on the FWY, my front bumper was replaced + the drivers litronic xenon light (the old one got scuffed by the chair so they just replaced it with a brand new one)

Tried the old bulb that was in the replaced headlight and still- so its not a bulb issue!!

2 weeks ago i ran into a chair on the FWY, my front bumper was replaced + the drivers litronic xenon light (the old one got scuffed by the chair so they just replaced it with a brand new one)
Now it looks like the passenger side litronic xenon light is BRIGHTER than that new one? whats going on here? they look the same, the shop ordered direct from Porsche, ect.. But the older light (passenger side) seems to be ommitting more light? has anyone experienced this before? I JUST WENT & CHECKED AGAIN, THE NEW HEADLIGHT SEEMS AS IF ITS OMMITTING A DIFFERENT KIND OF LIGHT..LIKE NOT AS WHITE AS THE OTHER ONE, MAYBE MORE YELLOWISH (but not yellow yellow, just less white-hard to explain-)...I'M NOT SURE!!
UPDATE: So Today i went back to the place, had them take the BULB out of the headlight that was replaced (bulbs still working) and put in the new headlight AND STILL SAME THING! so its not a "Bulb" Issue.
*So far got 2 different answers.
1- Things not grounded correct in new light
2- Old light looks brighter but its not, its because its older and maybe needs resurfacing.
It could be different bulbs. HID bulbs are available in many color temperatures. The standard OEM bulb is 4,300K. This color temperature is close to that of natural sunlight, and it is where the human eye performs the best. Many people change their bulbs for higher temperatures like 6,000K. These have more of a blue or even purple hue. People do this for the look. The problem is that this color temperature is not good for performance. The human eye doesn't see well in this range, and it loses depth perception.
Also, HID lights change in color and intensity over their useful service life. They generally start out brighter and whiter, and over the course of time they lose some intensity. This is one reason that HID bulbs should be changed in pairs rather than one at a time.
Tried the old bulb that was in the replaced headlight and still- so its not a bulb issue!! Shop says its becuz of age difference in lenses (but then shouldn't the new one be brighter and whiter) I'm trying to get insurance to figure this out-if they must -then get another new one to match I guess!
Do you still have the scratched, replaced headlight?
Did you try the whole old light set?
Take both old right, and new left out and compare them. Do the housings look the same? (other then right & left config) Is there a ballast on both?
Is there a part number molded into both housings?
Is the new one the right part number?
Post the part number some one will know if it is the correct one.
Does the ground connector look the same in both headlight trays?
Is there any visable damage in the left tray connector??
