Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Funny - that's what I used to use my 124 for, too.

well, if you stop using the spyder as a work bench.....
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

Hey, woo hoo! My new fabspeed supercup exhaust finally came!
just finished installing it... ran into 2 issues.. first it didn't come with tips like I expected.. I was expecting the 993 style tips to be on it...
I will email them in the am... but until then I cant get the pass side tip to tighten up... clamp is all the way closed... loose as a goose... redid it 4 times.. same each time... any tips? no pun intended?
My TA sport exhaust flanged end-pipe would not connect to the OEM tips-pipe without a special ring that goes in between the 2 pipes used as a connector-type to seal and also to act like an adjustment tool for the tips. Without this ring in between, the clamp would not hold tight, connecting the 2 pipes. One end of the pipe, TA exhaust side had a flange design which is different than the OEM Porsche exhaust end-pipe design. I had to order those rings directly from TA authorized dealer in LA. You may need to contact FS and ask them about your issue... Good-luck.
Hey are these the ones they said they were going to fab up for $595 over on 6speed a couple of months ago?

Did you retain stock cats or is this cat delete?
I got the from Fabspeed directly... they are loud.. but not as loud as I expected...stock cats for now... I cant drive the car right now because my driveway is in the middle of being repaved... argh!
I believe these are diff than the ones posted on the 6 speed forum...
and the 124.... I love it but alas... it needs more love than I can give it at the moment...
part number is non existent.. invoice says part # 000 996 supercup exhaust price $850 I believe this is the 2nd or 3rd set they have made.. they are looking into the tip issue...hope to hear from them tomorrow as I just got a reply a bit ago.
Thanks for the update, I'm curious. I thought I heard a rattle in one of my mufflers the other day, so if it doesn't pass the rubber mallet test this weekend I may drive down to Fabspeed and see what they've got.
bkjwhipple: Nice looking exhaust!! Let me if I check out your ride and listen to that exhaust some time. I am close by just a few miles from Samm in Carnation.
Update.... new clamps for the tips should be here courtesy of fabspeed wed... apparently my clamps wont work... although I'm disappointed they will still be on the car.. i wanted something bigger to go with the bigger sound... after spending the $ on the mufflers I'm not going to spend another $350 on tips.. argh...
absolutely! as soon as I can drive it again I'm game :-)
I'd love to do a whole group meet as well for the PNW crew!
regarding Tequipment tips for MKI, I think fly996 had a set in the for sale for awhile, he came down to much more reasonable price recently.. check if they are sold yet. I found my Tequip tips from LA Porsche dismantlers, they looked new with some minor bottom scrapes and I paid only $200+shipping! check them out!
I will def do a vid.. but I don't have the tips on it currently and don't want to run it much with the hot exhaust not being pushed out the back of the car. as far as sound.... AWESOME! :-)
um... I can't figure out how to post a vid... ed... a little help please? :-) lol
here is a link... Its just a short one from my blackberry.. so BAD quality.... I asked my dad who is in the drivers seat not to rev it too much.. he didn't listen...

WOOHOOOO!!!
I love the comment... "That's good" as in OK DAD, that's the last time you get to push the loud pedal !!
dont sweat it, your motor is designed to rev - in fact the factory did it the first time it started before it was even in the car
oh, I rev the pi$$ out of it ;-) just never free rev... that's rough on a motor... I only do it under load. :-) Porsche may do it.... but Porsche also wants me to buy a new one! lol
good point!
I am growing more used to the "free revs" but since I was a little tyke I knew that was a
seems fairly common and I cringe less than I used to
