Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

3 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Hi all Does anybody have the tightening tourqe for the intake cam sproket for the 3.6l 3 chain engine. Also does anybody know if this bolt needs to be replaced when the sprocket is removed. Thanks Ev

POST 2Original post

The manual calls for this screw to be replaced. The torque is 37lbs. with the cam adjustment gauge in place (tool 9686), then remove the tools and an additional 110 degrees with a torque angle wrench. In both cases you are supposed to use another tool (9685) that holds the adapter and keeps it from rotating. Section 15 of the manual has detailed instructions, etc. on this.
