Read evidence and context
Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

I removed the holder when I bought the car and filled the indentations with several layers of matching paint, so unless you know that the marks are there they are not noticeable.

It was removed several years ago when I installed the 996 aero kit.
These are separate views of the same evidence. Frequency alone does not establish a fix, and these counts must not be added together.

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

I have a front bumper cover that will fit a 99 to 2001 996 for sale.
The bumper is currently painted Glacier White and in excellent condition. It was removed several years ago when I installed the 996 aero kit.
$250 obo. Located in Doylestown, PA
Local pick-up preferred, as I imagine that shipping would be quite expensive. Available for immediate pick-up.
PM for details.
Hummmm...might look real nice on wife's Glacier White Boxster. I'll let her know, but frankly she would rather spend money on clothes, purses, shoes or other foolish things.
Pete,
I do not have recent pics, as it has been protected in a box (along with appropriate bubble wrap to protect the paint from marring and scratching) for several years, but here's a photo taken the day before I switched it out for the aero bumper.
The only defects that you will find (that I remember) are very slight indentations where the front license plate holder used to be. I removed the holder when I bought the car and filled the indentations with several layers of matching paint, so unless you know that the marks are there they are not noticeable.
I kept the stock bumper in case I ever wanted to remove the aero bumper and revert back to stock, but I long ago came to the conclusion that's not going to happen, so I'm happy to pass it along to someone else and get it out of my basement. I figure that it will be a good replacement for someone.
