Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

20 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

How much do these normally sell for? I'm considering moving over to black wheels and may sell them. They are about $500 each new, but I'd be surprised if they go for much more than half that used.

POST 2Original post

I have seen them go for $850-$1450. I bought a set of scruffy track wheels for ~$1k and another set of nice street wheels for $1400 YMMV

POST 3Original post

Had the same thoughst as you but decided to keep stock wheels just in case I sell the car or if something happens to the new wheels.

POST 5Original post

Going rate is $150 for all four but since I'm such a nice guy, I'll give you $200...

POST 6Original post

I just sold mine a month ago for $2K in 9/10 condition with center caps and fairly new n-spec tires.

POST 9Original post

Just bought a set for $800 + $200 shipping. condition 7/10

POST 10 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Thanks guys. This give me a good indication of what mine may be worth.

POST 11Original post

These the 5 spokes? if so, out here in the SFBay area they show up on CL pretty regularly for $500-$800 a set. No interest for me since they look like C5 Corvette wheels.

POST 12Original post

$500 a set? Not a chance. I find it comical those you don't like them since they "look" like a wheel from a C5. They have 5 spokes and that's about all they have in common.

You can be banned for comments like that... I wanted Carrera wheels. But the car I found had everything else I wanted, and turbo twists. My only problem with these: one side of the car is always going the wrong direction.

Ha! That always annoyed me, and I thought I was the only one!

POST 15Original post

Quotes source post: 7585219

Could you imagine what they would cost if they had to do different sets of casts so all the wheels went the same direction? Ouch!

POST 16Original post

And then watch installers try to get the right uni-directional tires on the right wheels! I've learned to live with it...

Yes, and with no takers for several CL listings. It's just another cool advantage of living in Kali, as there is just so much of this stuff out here, it tends to go cheap. hmmm, thin 5 spokes. From 10 feet away they look the same to me. But to Chevy's advantage, they at least did offer a high polish version. To be fair, I did not like the thinspokes on the C5 I had either. Somehow Chevrolet managed it as all 91-96 Corvette directional wheels were 4 different part numbers so the wheels all went the same direction. Always thought Porsche cheaped out on the twists, especially since they made them for so many years. Not really best of breed manufacturing or design there. But to Porsche's advantage, who among the Rennlist faithful would dare criticize the Overloads from Zuffenhausen for their frugality
