Read evidence and context
Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

BAWHAHAHAHAHA! Hey, I recognize that guy!
Well, you only have to worry about that for half of the year, because it's so cold in in Minneapolis that water flows only 6 months out of the year. Icicles melting on your roof line do not count as flowing water.
OK I wasnt going to post here as I had nothing to add... but Maci, thats some funny drawings there!
The cap door could be re-inforced by swapping the plastics parts out with custom machined aluminum or stainless steel.... anyone REALLY got to have these I will consider it, but its not going to be cheap.... have to reverse engineer the parts first...then make some to see how they fit... after that the price comes down if we want more
A month??.....
A
month??..... as in one month????? I don't think so!!!!
How about
18 months
!!!!! You got your car in late December of '05 and reported the little green circle issue in July of '07.
I may have been born at night, but it wasn't last night!
Hey Phil, I am so glad to have you back here!
Eighteen months is about right for both issues, since
I don't remember filling up the tank for at least a year!!
Thought the little green circle on the dash was a welcome message from Porsche AG.
BTW, got the car out of off-site storage today, had the oil changed, and detailed it! Holberts was VERY glad to see me and my wallet. Now, it's back in storage in MY garage!!
Be careful about using a universal filler cap. Even if it fits it could set the check engine light. A friend of mine lost his while he was trying to sell his car and he bought a universal cap that fit and the check engine light came on. He had a buyer coming to look at the car so I reset his light for him but it came back on instantly. So I reset it again and put my original cap on and the check engine light never came back on. The guy bought the car so I had to order another from Sunset. The whole week while I was waiting on the new cap to come in, my check engine light was on. So my point is that Porsche designed the fuel tank emissions system very accurately and it is very touchy, so be careful which cap you try.
