Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

25 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

hi i need help ...will these oem cup holder fit insteed of my (cd holder)

POST 2Original post

Nobody likes these since they are feeble, and reside right over sensitive electronic equipment. I just got an Ultimate Cup Holder, and am very impressed with the quality and ease of use. Plus, if something spills, it goes on the mat, and not the stereo!

Dennis, next time don't sugar coat it...... just tell us exactly what you think about it!

POST 10Original post

The OEM cupholder fits in the upper slot, where your HVAC control is, which is then relocated to the bottom slot on the lower dash. Radio usually goes in just below the cupholder and the strage tray goes in the upper slot on the lower console. I have the OEM and it is really not that bad. Tied the Ultimate Cupholder and gave them to a buddy. Always hit my knee/leg and had to move my leg to take out the drink. So there are pros and cons to both types.

POST 11 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

thanks everyone just ordered 2 ultimate cupholders...........

POST 16Original post

*ahem* May I say I'm glad to be associated with such classy bunch of guys.....your attention to detail and your willingness to constructively suggest ways to improve and enjoy these wonderful cars is an inspiration....(and a warning)! Seriously, anyone got a line on cupholders for the 02 and newer versions cheaper than currently listed at Pelican?

POST 17Original post

Quotes source post: 6439103

The 02 cupholder is standard, did your break it?... and it stinks anyways! Gor for the ultimatecupholder.

+100%

POST 19Original post

I busted one of the little springs that pushes the tab which secures the cup inside of the holder. The ultimate cupholder may be an option since I really dislike how it restricts my access to the controls.....

POST 20Original post

Maybe its just me, but I'm slightly taken aback by such vigorous discussion over cupholders . Have a drink when you get there.

Yes, there is a theme here. To each their own. It just pains me to see that done to a P-car.
