Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

0 original-poster resolution reports. Counts can overlap; they are not unique people or a success rate.
0 discussions have direct query context; 0 report a fix in that context. Other evidence may inherit the discussion’s subject.
Suggestion
I've been running 3 different tires on my 911 for 2K miles (thank the previous owner) with significant variances in the tread depth between 3 of the 4 tires.
Leading evidence: 'Run 3 different tires' (no explicit attributable resolution; this is a reported action or suggestion). Across 1 matching discussions, The most frequently discussed action is 'Run 3 different tires' (1 discussions). For that action, 0 discussions report a resolution and 0 report an unsuccessful attempt. No action has an explicit, attributable resolution report under the current rules. These are forum reports and suggestions, not a confirmed diagnosis.

Suggestion
You can run whatever you want on you car but you will be compromising the handling characteristics with anything but a matched, type and condition, correctly sized set of tires.

Just get new front Pzeros and replace the set next time.
These are separate views of the same evidence. Frequency alone does not establish a fix, and these counts must not be added together.

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

I have a 2003 C4S with Pirelli Asyms on it from the factory. I replaced the back ones at 16,000 and now th front ones need it at 19,000.
I want to put Michelin PS2 on it. The backs should last another 15,000 at which time I will put Michelins on the back as well. Can I run it with Michelins on the front and Pirellis on the rear fior approx. 15,000 miles?
I don't see why 'no'. The PS2s will be stickier than the PZeros. If you complain of understeer, then it might even be better. It also depends on what kind of a driver you are. You're talking reasonably different tires from different companies, so they will probably handle differently. But then, different tire pressures handle differently, and so do different tire sizes which people seem to mix and match. Even new vs old (and heat-cycled to death) will handle differently. What I would do would be to put the PS2s on the front. Find some place (like a track if you can) where you can push it and see if you like the result. If not, then do the back, too. I was not overly impressed with my PZeros, but it depends on how hard you push your car, what you want out of it, and how much you're willing to spend. You might also be able to sell of your old PZeros for a small amount.
Porsche says no
If you do it, your car will roll but you might loose traction when driving hard due to mismatch tires. Why risk it? Granted, if you always drive at speed limit and never hard in rain, you will be okay. Who drives slow in a 996?
Just get new front Pzeros and replace the set next time.
Yes, your car will definitely explode if you do this!
By the way, anyone notice that your tires vary in traction from new, to half life, to completely worn out?
Well, if your fronts wear at half the rate of the rears, guess what? In 5K miles, you are driving with mis-matched tires!
I've been running 3 different tires on my 911 for 2K miles (thank the previous owner) with significant variances in the tread depth between 3 of the 4 tires. Don't worry, it's on the list to upgrade. In fact, new ones are on the way (because of tread depth, road noise, and harsh ride, not handling). But guess what? In the rain, in regular dry driving, and flying around empty backroads at the limit while hanging out the tail, it hasn't blow to pieces yet!
What a bunch of wishy-washy, nambly-pambly, P.C, C.Y.A. the lawyers have gotten to you answers.
