Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

which means our ski resorts are ~37F, which means if i want to use my seasons pass I need to buy scuba gear, not ski wear
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

If you don't know by now, I like taking pictures of the temp gauge on very cold days...
To the guys in the northeast (or anywhere else it's cold), stay warm!
right now - 4:30 a.m Seattle is 47F (sending wife off, will go back to sleep I think)
which means our ski resorts are ~37F, which means if i want to use my seasons pass I need to buy scuba gear, not ski wear
-13F is cold though.... been there (parents came from N.D. where that is the norm in winter) Keep safe
Yep... I left for Florida yesterday and it was -39C with the wind chill (-25C ambient)... My brother reported a -57C into one of the Northern Canada destinations that he flies....
I will state that the heater in the 996 works very well! (stay war all)
Thermo reported -16 this morning when I had to take the boys out to take care of "business"- and now the thermo says -4.............and more snow on the way!
Here in the snow belt off Lake Ontario it just will not stop snowing... It seems like we get something everyday... My wife is packing her bags for a relocation down south until it is all over. Maybe a road trip into Ga. is inorder for March.
It's not THAT rare, lol. Hell, I love the change of seasons more than any one set of conditions. I really love the cold and snow too. Finally getting some decent snow here.
Hey, don't feel sad for me...I get a whole season of practicing my drifting skills! I'd bet that most of us could live wherever we wanted...I choose here.
I was in your neighborhood last week, enjoying the scenery and weather. Now I'm back to two feet of snow and cold temperatures.
BTW - I only saw 3 Porsches during my tour Down Under.
Hey Bill,
Hope you enjoyed your stay.
P-cars are quite expensive down under so you wouln't see anywhere near as many as stateside.
Had i'd known, could have enjoyed a few beers or tried some of the drive'n roads.
Robert
Hi Robert.
We really enjoyed the trip. I've always wanted to visit Australia and it was even more interesting than I had imagined. We visited Sydney, Cairns, Melbourne, Hobart, Ayers Rock and Alice Springs. I saw a 997, a 993, and one really old one (not sure of the designation). The 997 was parked in front of our hotel in Sydney. I went up to the valet and asked for the Porsche keys. He stuttered for a few seconds before I told him I was just kidding.
Don't forget to feed the real animals that are living and dying in that weather.
Normally when I experience the cold its smack dab right there in it 24 hours a day. Sucks.
Maybe it was just the guys with AK's running amuck....
Ok, I think I have had enough of this winter. -20F this morning on southern Finland.
911 started like a champ, but I'm sure that if ti could speak, it would say "are you kidding me"
On the North, they measured -36F..... (well it's on the arctic circle
