turned out to be a big improvement over my old ones - one was actually bent (didnt know untill I removed it) - it costs the same labore/alignment to replace with new and used...

I gave away a set too....was really happy when someone finally took them after months and months of trying to give them away - US spec are quite desireable

Car has 80K I have a set of shocks with 30K on them(friend went to PSS9). Any benefit to up grading on the cab? I have M030 bars. Thanks

If your shocks are bad then maybe, but it is a lot of work to install a set of used shocks. Also, how many miles on the shocks. On my 2000 the shocks were going at 50K but they were 10 years old. At least one had leaked.

I put on a used set of USM030 shocks and have enjoyed almost 20k miles on them so far. I'd do it again.

I bought used (because they came with the springs I wanted) turned out to be a big improvement over my old ones - one was actually bent (didnt know untill I removed it) - it costs the same labore/alignment to replace with new and used... so you only save the parts costs... if you are "having it done" I would go new... DIY - why not try used

He gave them to me free. I would just be installing shocks with 50K less miles on them.
