Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

44 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

  • Rennlist: 1 discussions

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

I finally (after 5 months) pulled the car cover off today and took her for a drive. It was fantastic!! I hope the nice weather sticks around for good.

POST 2Original post

Finally, how does it feel to be behind the wheel of your Porsche compared to your Audi?

POST 3Original post

That sounds great and I'm jealous.... No such chance in Michigan yet although I'm crossing my fingers... need the rain to wash the salt off the road and for it to warm up a bit. Enjoy!

POST 4Original post

I took her out today, it was over 50 finally. These dumb#%^$ were using loose gravel to fill potholes on the highway. Not asphalt that has a chance of sticking, but loose freakin' gravel, pea size. I turned around and went back home.

Surprisingly, here in Nebraska we have having 60 degree weather, I saw some motorcycles on the road the other day.. it was so temping so i knocked the dust off of her.

POST 7 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Quotes source post: 8300004

Luckily they don't dump that much gravel on the road, where are you from?

Enjoy it while it lasts. I've never lived in Neb. but I lived in Mo. long to recognize in the winter when these nice spells of weather hit it usually means nasty weather just a few days a way. The low pulls up air from the south, moist warm air and things get downright balmy, then as the low moves down that moisture falls as rain, ice/snow or even hail. Some of the nastiest weather has come late Feb. early March. Remember, in Neb. there's nothing between you and the north pole but some barb wire fences, so don't venture too far from home in the Porsche. Sincerely, Macster.

POST 9Original post

I took mine out today. It was cold out and had to put on a sweater, but being a white guy I still wore shorts. Now that it's on the market, I'm driving it now more than ever...

Mayberry, er, Long Island.

POST 11Original post

Ryan: We lived in Omaha for 10 years, and I don't remember mid-February being the end of the messy season. But, maybe global warming has done it for you guys. I remember thaw, freeze cycles, with lots of salt in the middle to keep the ice at bay. I'm sitting quietly, waiting for another 60 days. The plows were good enough to spill 20 pounds of salt across the intersection just two houses down from me. Going to take a bit of rain to wash that stuff off the street!!!! larry

POST 12Original post

mid 50's in NYC today. Drove mine to work and cant remember why I decided to sell it This is the 2nd time since the Christmas storm that it got out. 1st time was a 1 hour warm up run to no where 2 weekends back....

POST 13 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Quotes source post: 8300041

I hear ya! For the past 8 yrs I've lived here the nasty storms typically happen in Feb-Mar. But hey the forecast says 68 degrees on Thursday.. I can't let the 996 pass that one up!

POST 14Original post

Man, I can not wait to get mine back! I am hoping for it in about a month.

POST 15 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Quotes source post: 8300504

Hey this Nebraska weather should be coming to PA soon. Where in PA you from? I grew up there.

You didn't sell it yet huh? any bites?

POST 17Original post

Lucky Man! Not even close around here yet, there is more sand and crap on the roads around here than at your local Superdome for an Autocross/Monster truck event...... the club's first drive is end of march (if the roads have been cleaned) and my first event @ Lime Rock is early April...I m hoping that the is gone and the roads are clear by then........

POST 18 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Quotes source post: 8301042

I definitely remember the sandy/salts roads on the east coast.. It usually took a good rain to wash the junk off the road.

POST 19Original post

Quotes source post: 8300648

One bite, it's been up for a week or two. I'm not worried, at some point I'll lower the price but I'm in no hurry. I don't want to dump it either...

Drove mine to dinner last night, AKA "just another day".

POST 23Original post

I am a little jealous. Had rotator cuff surgery 4 weeks ago and the docs says 3-4 more weeks before he wants me to drive a stick. Normally I drive mine year round so I have missed 4 weeks already.

POST 24Original post

Quotes source post: 8301383

left mine in the garage for 2 days with both doors open and a fan blowing inside to dry it out from the track day Saturday... can you say WET !!

POST 25Original post

I'm so happy the Porsches are out!! Have seen two black cabs and a silver TT with the license plates: excesv . Finally saw a blue one yesterday, so now I need to go and 'dig out' my BLUE PORSCHE thread and find out what color it is - pictures and real life don't always match.

POST 33 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Quotes source post: 8302393

You have no idea! I was driving around looking for a turn... anywhere.... nope just straight roads. I hate it. Good for stomping on the gas every once in a while though.

POST 34 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Quotes source post: 8302401

Haha, I am getting new wheel soon anyway! Unfortunately, I have to use the front plate and the tips are just bypass pipes (fabspeed knock-offs)
