Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

I have been fiddling with that idea. I may tape it with white electrical tape to see what it looks like.
I really need a silver hood crest. The one I saved seems to have grown legs...........
I dont know..... red S is the way to go on the lid.... and the wheel cap also.... and red seatbelts. Silver badge is sweet. You can also do hand painted wheels caps....
I used a glossy wheel clear. Will be tough and be better with the heat.
Thanks gang. This is the second one I have done and it gets easier as you know the tricks.
I REALLY like this look and am now inspired to do something like this on my interior. I have some wood and aluminum to break up the beige color but I think a painted console would really help liven things up.
Off to do some research on what needs to be done...
I have done it two ways.
First clean the heck out of the console. I used Alcohol/distilled water mix.
Used engine gray primer. Mist it on over several coats.
Color of your choice. First one I did was in my Blue car and I got a color as close to body as possible. This time I had left over white from my lowers.
THen I used Wheel Clear. Has a good finish and is pretty tough. I know the consoles get hot in summer so I wanted something that could take the heat. I did 5 coats before I got bored
I looked at bumper plugs and decided I could do it myself, it's on my project list as I think it makes the interior stand out big time. I have a few scratches in mine from the original owner, so a little bit of filler to smooth them out I think.
Looks nice, I love it when people do mods, guess that's why I've been in the business over 30 years.
I think your wheels would look great powercoated or painted white as well.
