Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

0 discussions have direct query context; 0 report a fix in that context. Other evidence may inherit the discussion’s subject.
Suggestion
I would have recommended Biff's (and you would have thanked me) but it's closed for renovations this week.

I don't know how fussy you are about weather in your cab, but here's the forecast for Toronto this weekend (subject to change about a hundred times before then):

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.
11 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

I don't know if you've stayed at the Fairmont before, but it's a pretty nice hotel. Very old school, though... more like the Waldorf than like a W. I wouldn't even know where to begin recommending restaurants. It's a great city for that, and you're near a bunch. Let me know what you're in the mood for, and maybe I can narrow it down for you.
You probably know this, but in case not: Our provincial police service is led by a jackbooted fascist. If you get nailed doing 50kmh/30mph over the posted limit, your car goes away on a flat bed and you get to think about the $2,000- to- $10,000 fine you just got while you wait for a cab.
Toronto is a Porsche town...lots of them! Think of how much you'll miss yours if your sitting in your Lexus everytime a p-car goes by. As Zook said, come out to our GTG's. Lots of P-car activity happening this weekend:
friday night meet
Sat morning GTG
Sun "Shift into Spring" at Pfaff Porsche
go to the Canada forum, it's all there:

And I didn't even mention the radar detector detectors.
Seriously, I find that most cops around here don't abuse the power they've been given, and they mostly overlook healthy speeds on the multilane highways. But every once in awhile...
Ok, directions and details to the P car events could squeeze one in Sat. am. Food upscale casual, walking distance, reasonable contintal cusine. I am comming back Sunday afternoon. What is the deal with radar detectors?
Thanks,
Gregg
Basically, the Fairmont has its back to the financial district, so anything really close is expensive. I would have recommended Biff's (and you would have thanked me) but it's closed for renovations this week.
For casual, close and continental, you could try beerbistro. Menu is online at beerbistro.com It's casual but still sophisticated enough for date night.
A little further out, and I find that most of the restaurants are kind of touristy. If it were me, I would take a short cab ride/long walk to the King and Spadina area. Near King and Wellington, there's a french place called Le Select. Reliably good, authentic French bistro food. Around the corner on King, is a very nice wine bar/bistro called Crush. Next door, a slightly more casual place called Brassai. Both are good. Across the street at King and Brant is a steak house called Jacob's & Co. You'd need reservations there, but celebrity sightings aren't uncommon. Unlike the other three which have a bistro atmosphere, Jacob's is like a night club.
This area keeps you close enough to your hotel, though still a cab ride if it's raining. This is a great city for restaurants, but unfortunately it's not a great walking city.
Radar detectors are illegal. On our 400-series highways, LEOs carry a device called Spectre, which can detect radar detectors in nearby cars. They have the right to search and seizure if they nail you, plus $1,000 fine. Confiscation is the usual penalty.
