Read evidence and context
Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

I was able to change the exhaust tip on the driver's side by getting to the clamp.
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

I was able to change the exhaust tip on the driver's side by getting to the clamp. I can get to the passenger side clamp but the GD clamp bolt spins. I don't have the room to put something on the other end to stop the spin.
good luck - iirc once they loosen a little they can be rotated to gain better access BUT rotate one dirrection better than the other so you might have to go "all the way around"
I took the can out. The head of the clamp bolt was not seated right..the concave part of the bolt head was not on the flange portion of the clamp which is why the bolt was turning. It was not locked in place. Cleaned up the threads and all back to together.
Thanks for the words of wisdom guys.
awe - cleaning the bolts work fine... I took mine out 3-4 times and re-used the bolts, after the first round they were easy to remove...
where the H&LL are the pics !!
I bought a set of fabspeed quick dissconnects $60 bucks.....had to dremel the old ones off....what a PITA. Now I can adjust them without jacking up the car or removing the cans.

Mine would't come apart even after several soakings with WD40...I borrowed a rotozip tool from my plumber...lots of sparks , but quick work to the rusted bolts.
